After moving to California from her native Canada, Monica began a career as a Flight Attendant. Travel offered opportunities to see different kinds of architecture and design, something she knew was her calling.  A large Retailer spotted her abilities as a designer and Monica found herself as a Visual Coordinator for three years before enrolling in an Interior Design Program.  While attending school, she worked for an exclusive Fabric and Upholstery Corporation, developing new patterns, colors and designs.  After working with a seasoned Interior Designer in Westlake Village, CA, for a year, Monica was equipped and eager to embark on her own business venture.  She became an Accredited Staging Professional (A.S.P.) and founded Monaco Designs, a full spectrum Interior Design and Staging Company.  Unique furniture, accents and collectables set Monaco Designs apart, creating a one-of-a-kind look that buyers want to purchase with the home. In addition to staging, Monica partnered with a colleague and fellow Stager and began Orchid Envy www.orchidenvy.com a floral design company that specializes in unique orchid arrangements.
